Europe- Liverpool, England

Hey Guys!

I hope you are exciting to continue my British tour! Are not you? Do you remember? My previous article was talking about the great city of Manchester, now I’ve decided to take you away in another important city of the Great Britain. I hope you will appreciate your trip in Liverpool.

  • A little friendly remember about geography:

Liverpool is in the south west of the historic county of Lancashire in North West England, on the eastern side of the Mersey Estuary

What to do?

Albert Dock

I advise you to take some hours and discover this very interesting place; the Albert Dock is a complex of dock buildings and warehouses. It was opened in 1846 and designed by Jess Hartley and Philip Hardwick.
During the second world war the Albert Dock serving as a base for boats of British Atlantic Fee. But today it is a major tourist attraction in the city, and one of components of Liverpool’s UNESCO heritage.
Furthermore I had the chance to discover the TATE Liverpool situated in Albert Dock. The gallery opened in 1988 and is the largest gallery of modern and contemporary art in the UK outside London.

Liverpool’s Cathedrals

  •        Cathedral Church of Christ

I advise you to visit this wonderful cathedral one of the most largest and longest cathedral in the world. More, you could enjoy of a wonderful panoramic view from the rooftop and discover the bell chamber with the world’s highest and heaviest peal of bells.

  •        Metropolitan Cathedral

Officially known as the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King it is one of the most surprising cathedrals that I’ve visited.

Where to eat?

MOOSE coffee

According to me it’s the perfect place to savour a tasty breakfast. I have opted for their delicious pancakes. Moreover you’ll find a wide choice of food: English breakfast, Sandwiches, Pancakes or waffle.

Central Perk

This is the exact reproduction of the coffee in Friend’s where the six main protagonists spent much of their free time.
